Levi Roots – Helping us put some heat into our veganuary campaign

This Veganuary, we’ve partnered with Dragon’s Den star, Levi Roots, to launch the UK’s first plant-based jerk chicken restaurant: The M***F*** Jerk Joint.

Open between 12-4pm for three days (20th-22nd January 2022) in Shoreditch, London, the pop-up restaurant is serving up two exclusive Levi Roots Caribbean recipes, both made using our very own award-winning plant-based Chicken Breast launching in Veganuary Roots’ famous Reggae Reggae Sauce. Now that is a match made in heaven!

Come on down to The M***F*** Jerk Joint to try a plant-based take on a classic with the Meatless Jerk Chicken Rice-n-Peas or spice it up with Chunky Jerk Chicken-less Strips, available for free to eat in or takeaway, until stocks last.

As part of our change the world campaign, the pop up restaurant allows all visitors to try a tasty change that can make a big difference; our recent environmental study carried out by Joseph Poore (researcher at Oxford University) shows the UK can save 4.3 metric tonnes of CO2, equivalent to 13 million flights to Malaga, by swapping just one chicken meal a week to a plant-based alternative* – so you can tuck in, knowing that you are helping to change the world.

Calling all Chickens, Hams, Bacons and Beefs!

We want all of our meaty named mates to be VIP guests at the event. We’re inviting anyone with a meaty surname to get the VIP treatment. If you’re a Mr. or Miss Chicken, Ham, Bacon or Beef, you can attend an exclusive launch party before the restaurant opens to the public and meet Mr. Levi Roots himself by messaging @meatlessfarm with your meaty named ID!

Can’t get down to the pop-up restaurant? Don’t fear you can check out the exclusive recipes here.
