Meatless Farm mince nominated in FreeFrom Food Awards 2020
We’re delighted to announce that Meatless Farm Meat Free Mince has been nominated in the FreeFrom Food Awards 2020.
As one might guess, our plant-based meat alternative is free from meat, and also free from gluten, wheat and dairy.
Packed with taste and texture, and based on the nutritional profile of beef, our meat-free mince can be used in family favourites such as spaghetti Bolognese, lasagne, cottage pie and much more.
High in protein, a good source of fibre and 100% vegan, our mince is currently available in the UK from Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Morrisons, Ocado, Amazon Fresh and The Vegan Kind Supermarket. Find out more about Meatless Farm Meat Free Mince.
It is listed for The Innovation Award category, sponsored by Food Matters Live. and is up against products from Asda, The Co-op, Growers Garden, Mash Direct, Our Paula’s, Tesco, The Box Bakery and Venice Bakery.
«This year’s entry has amazed us all – 30% up on 2019. And for the first time, not just four of the major supermarkets as entrants, but eight! And… the standard and variety of the entries gets better and better. There is also no doubt that the plant-based revolution and FreeFrom are working hand in hand; and the freefrom consumer is definitely benefitting,» said awards chief Michelle Berriedale-Johnson.
The winners will be announced on 28th April at the Royal College of Physicians in London.
