The Meatless Farm lands in Australia
The Meatless Farm has landed in Australia, after announcing the availability of our plant-based range Down Under.
Following our explosive growth in the the United States and being named as the UK’s fastest-growing plant-based meat company, we’re delighted to bring our range of meat-free alternatives to vegan and flexitarian Australians.
Australians leading plant-based trend
The move into the Australian market comes at a time when Australians are leading the global trend towards plant-based eating.
Australia is the world’s third fastest growing market for plant-based foods. There’s growing awareness of environmental sustainability, animal welfare and a focus on healthy lifestyles.
«We’re committed to creating plant-based meats that deliver on taste, texture and nutrition. We’re thrilled to be entering Australia in partnership with Decade Foods. More and more Australians are looking to reduce the amount of meat they’re eating. This is for both health and environmental reasons, and this shows no sign of slowing down,» said founder of Meatless Farm Morten Toft Bech.
Burger of the Month
The Meatless Farm is starting its Australian adventure by entering the food service market in Sydney, via Bidfood Botany. Our food service range will also be available to other areas of the country through Decade Foods.
It hasn’t taken long for The Meatless Farm burgers to gain attention. Our delicious plant-based patties are used in popular Sydney restaurant Suburgia’s Burger of the Month for May, while our meat-free sausages are also available on their gourmet hot dogs. Both menu items are available from Suburgia’s takeaway and home delivery service, which is running during COVID-19.
«The look, cook, taste, and quality of their plant-based meats make Meatless Farm a good fit for us. Adding their burger patties and sausages to our menu lets us expand the fun, fresh, and quality menu that we provide to our customers,» commented Mike Jeffries from Suburgia.
