We know from our initial Lifetime Cycle Assessment conducted by environmental scientist Dr Joseph Poore that our plant-based products are a lot better for the environment, for example our plant-based mince has 94% less greenhouse gasses than beef mince.
We’re always looking at how we can create our plant-based products as sustainably as possible – this includes how we distribute and as a start-up it’s something that’s really key for us to work through as we grow.
Our products are here for everyone whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or just reducing meat! We want everyone to experience how tasty switching to plant-based -whether that’s just once a week or on a more regular basis – can be!
Our soya is completely non-GMO and is sustainably sourced from North America and China (IP Certified). Our North American supplier is a member of RTRS (Responsible Table, Responsible Soy), an organisation that is leading the way in sustainable soya production.

Production of our mince, burgers and sausages is based here in the UK, we’re proud to be doing our bit to help the planet! Our hotdogs are made in Germany, although we are looking to move production to the UK eventually! We source our ingredients as sustainably as possible.
We are really focussed on being as environmentally friendly as possible and we’re always looking to improve. Our ingredients are non-GMO, from sustainable sources and high-quality suppliers, like our coconuts which are grown in the warmer climates of the Asia-Pacific. Our soya for example is sustainably sourced from North America and our supplier is a member of RTRS (Responsible Table, Responsible Soy), an organisation that is leading the way in sustainable soya production. We’re always looking at how we source our ingredients and become even more sustainable. We hope you join us on the journey, it’s the small steps that count.
Our processing facility is peanut- and nut-free and our supply chain is risk assessed to show there is no risk of cross contamination, however we do not currently do any testing to validate making a nut-free claim. Some people have been known to have a legume allergy (peanut is in the same family) and as such may react to pea protein.
Our products are perfectly safe for freezing before and after cooking, giving you great flexibility whether you’re preparing meals for the week or just wanting something quick and easy in the freezer. We will soon be updating our packs with ‘Suitable for Freezing’.
Our products are safe to reheat and keep in the fridge. They behave like any other fresh food or meat product and can be kept for a few days; however, we would only recommend reheating once.
Yes, our meat-free burgers, sausages and mince have all been Kosher certified by the Court of the Chief Rabbi Beth Din, London.
Our Meat Free Hot Dogs are not Kosher certified.

Yes, both the sleeve and tray that we use for our mince and burgers are widely recyclable. In addition to this, the tray is also made from a minimum of 50% recycled material, while the sleeve that we print on is FSC certified which means that it comes from sustainably-managed forests.
We created our meatless mince with everyone in mind – not just vegetarians and vegans, but flexitarians and meat eaters, too. We believe that we have created a great alternative to beef mince, which is #MeatFreeNotTasteFree. We understand that we may not be for everyone, but we will always be dedicated to making fresh plant-based meat alternatives that above all taste delicious, because that’s what’s important!
