Described as a ‘clever product’ and ‘visually appetising, aided by the addition of herbs which look so green and fresh’ by judges, our Plant-Based Chickenless Roast picked up a Silver prize in the Free From Food Awards 2023 Easter Category.


The Good Housekeeping Institute also plucked out our Chickenless Roast in its meat-free Easter centrepieces, stating: “This vegan centrepiece is the perfect plant-based stand-in for roast chicken, complete with herby seasoning. The texture is impressively buttery and juicy, and considering this serves four people, we think it’s a steal.”

Guidelines only, appliances may vary. Ensure product is piping hot before serving. Pre-heat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6. Remove all packaging and place the joint in an oven proof dish. Add 2-3 tbsp water and cover with foil. Roast in the centre of the oven for 35 mins. Remove the foil and roast for a further 5 mins, basting occasionally. Once cooked, pour any remaining juices over the joint or use in gravy
