Meatless Farm Jerk Gravy

Jerk Gravy

This gravy is a bit of a spicy boy and something fun to mix things up with your Plant-Based Chicken Joint. Add some fresh thyme and a splash of coconut milk to make things creamy.

Ingredients

  • 20g butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 300g stock

Preparation

  1. Add the butter to a saucepan over a medium heat, add the onion and bay leaf, cook gently for 5 mins or until the onion is soft.
  2. add the jerk seasoning, curry powder. Cook for 1 mins then add the flour, stir well whilst cooking for 2 mins, slowly add the stock, mix well until evenly combined
  3. Gently simmer until thickened. Add a splash of water if needed then you’re good to go!
  4. Serve over your Meatless Farm Plant-Based Chicken Joint.
