Plant-Based Sausage Sandwich

Lean, Mean Sausage Butty

With low saturated fat and zero cholesterol,
there’s no holding back with the ultimate
meatless sausage sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 ciabatta buns
  • 4 Meatless Farm Pork & Apple Sausages
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 25g rocket leaves
  • 2 tsp of tomato chilli chutney
  • 15g vegan parmesan
  • 1 tbs olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Place the Meatless Farm Sausages on a non-stick baking tray and cook for 9-12 minutes, turning regularly.
  3. While the sausages are cooking, fry the onions in the olive oil on a medium heat until they become crispy.
  4. Slice the ciabattas in half and add a spoonful of tomato chilli chutney to the bottom of each.
  5. Add a handful of rocket leaves on top of the chutney for a nice peppery taste and sprinkle with the vegan parmesan for a tangy flavour.
  6. Once the sausages are cooked, slice length ways and add a layer to each ciabatta.
  7. Finish by placing the crispy onions on top of the sausages and adding the top of the ciabatta to your creation.
