Omari’s Sausage Stew & Mash

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Meatless Farm Plant-Based Chipolata Sausages
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • ½ savoy cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1kg white potatoes, roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp browning sauce
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme (optional)

Method

  1. Add boiling water to a pan and then add in the potatoes. Boil until cooked.
  2. Heat a dash of oil in a pan and add the onions, cabbage, and crushed garlic and leave to cook down.
  3. Cut up the Meatless Farm sausages and season them with the all-purpose seasoning, black pepper and salt. Then add the browning sauce.
  4. Put the sausages in the pan and add the chopped tomatoes and season with black pepper.
  5. Leave to cook for 5 mins.
  6. Check your potatoes are cooked then drain and mash (adding extra thyme if you wish).
  7. Serve and enjoy!
