Meatless Farm ambassador and the UK’s youngest award-winning vegan chef, Omari McQueen shares one of his favourite plant-based recipes – perfect for the whole family to enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 pack Meatless Farm Plant-Based Chipolata Sausages
- 1 white onion, diced
- ½ savoy cabbage, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1kg white potatoes, roughly chopped
- 2 tsp all-purpose seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp browning sauce
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 5 sprigs fresh thyme (optional)
Method
- Add boiling water to a pan and then add in the potatoes. Boil until cooked.
- Heat a dash of oil in a pan and add the onions, cabbage, and crushed garlic and leave to cook down.
- Cut up the Meatless Farm sausages and season them with the all-purpose seasoning, black pepper and salt. Then add the browning sauce.
- Put the sausages in the pan and add the chopped tomatoes and season with black pepper.
- Leave to cook for 5 mins.
- Check your potatoes are cooked then drain and mash (adding extra thyme if you wish).
- Serve and enjoy!
