Meatless Farm Meaty March Ultimate Burger recipe with plant-based burger, guacamole and mango salsa

The Ultimate Meaty March Burger

Makes 2 burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 Meatless Farm Meat Free Burgers
  • 2 gourmet burger buns of your choice
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 handful of baby spinach leaves
  • 1 large avocado
  • 3-4 baby tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 handfuls coriander leaves, roughly chopped
  • Half a mango, finely chopped
  • Pinch of mild chilli powder
  • Salt & pepper

Method

  1. To make the guacamole, scoop out the avocado into a bowl, along with the tomatoes, chilli, half the coriander leaves and lime juice, along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Mash well with a fork. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, make the mango salsa by mixing together the mango, the remaining lime and coriander leaves, the chilli powder and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Remove your Meatless Farm Meat Free Burgers from the packaging. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan on a medium heat. Add your burgers and cook for approximately 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Time to build your burger. Add a good layer of guacamole to the bottom bun, followed by a few baby spinach leaves. Place your Meatless Farm burger on top, followed by a generous helping of mango salsa and finish with the red onions and top bun. Dig in!
