Meatless Farm wins Emerging Business prize at UK FDF Awards

We’re delighted to have won the Emerging Business prize at the UK’s Food and Drink Federation (FDF) Awards.

Broadcaster and food critic Jay Rayner was on hand to present our founder Morten Toft Bech and Innovation / R&D Director Frank Lewis with the award at the glitzy event in London.

We were described as “an innovative and forward-thinking start-up business” which has “become a market leading brand in the world of plant-based products” thanks to our strong focus and investment in product development.

“Their customer base and sales are rapidly growing, and therefore so is the head office team (including opening an office in the USA to support the recent launch into Whole Foods Market),” the judges noted.

“Growth and success has come quickly for The Meatless Farm, and they are excited to continue expanding and offering the consumer what they demand.”

Commenting on the recognition, Morten said: “Last night’s win was a huge endorsement of all the hard work we do every day implementing our mission of meat reduction on a transformative scale.

“This is truly a team award we can all be very proud of. We’re in the process of making real tangible change to how people eat and consume meat and we’re leading from the front!”
