Meatless Farm Thanksgiving Stuffing

Our Meatless Thanksgiving Stuffing is guaranteed to bring some plant-based heat to the table, making the perfect side dish that is sure to spark some conversation around the dinner table. Ingredients

  • 1 pack Meatless Farm Meat Free Breakfast Sausages
  • 2 cups of celery, diced
  • 1 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 4 cups of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups salt-free vegetable stock

Preparation

  1. Thaw the Meatless Farm Meat Free Breakfast Sausages overnight. Then, start by preheating the oven to 350F. In a large sauté pan, heat 1 tbsp of avocado oil, then add the diced celery and red onion. Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Next, add in the Meatless Farm Sausages and use a spatula to chop into bite sized pieces. Allow sausages and mixture to cook, stirring occasionally until sausage is golden brown. Remove from heat.
  3. In a 13×9 oven safe baking dish, add bread crumbs, diced apples, ground flax and thyme. Then, pour vegetable broth over the mixture. Next, add in sausage mixture and sage. Then, using a spatula, mix until ingredients are well incorporated. Finish by adding cranberries on top.
  4. Bake stuffing in the preheated oven for 35-40 mins.
  5. Serve warm and let the roasting commence!
